The Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival includes the Firehouse Gallery - a juried art show. Other activities include a poster contest for local schools, a free children's art booth, arts & crafts booths, food vendors, terrific bands and entertainment.

The Sunset Beach Women's Club offers rentals for groups or parties. We have tables and chairs as well as some kitchen facilities.

Lifeguard Services Survey |
| In case you have not been on www.ocparks.com lately, we have a survey up on the Web Site now regarding our lifeguard service. Orange County is the only agency in California that contracts for ocean lifeguard services. Please pass along this information to anyone you think might be interested. |
Community Lot Rental Info |
The Community Lot is available to all residents and friends of residents. Cost is $300.00 for all day use with a $200.00 deposit which will be returned if the place is left cleaned up. The applicant will ensure the place is left as found. There is a form the applicant will sign with all instructions on the rental agreement. There are plenty of tables and chairs, a kitchen and stove available and a refrigerator. There are no bathroom facilities. The greenbelt has a bathroom available.

| On Monday mornings, in the greenbelt parking lots, leave enough space between your vehicle and the curb for the mowers. There is a new mowing crew for the Greenbelt and they cannot edge with the car bumpers over the curb. They want to do a good job, and make the greenbelt look good but need your help. Thank you! |
